Omnitech Graphics, the business
name of Graphic Distribution Products Pty Ltd,
is celebrating its 22nd year in high-tech distribution.
It specialises in large format digital printers,
visual communications supporting professionals
in Signage, Graphic Design, Architecture, Design
Engineering, and Digital Content. It operates
business to business directly and through a network
of Dealers throughout Australia.
Omnitech was established in 1979 specialising
in engineering supplies for the Reprographics
Industry. By 1985 it was moving to high-tech distribution,
representing MUTOH pen/pencil plotters for CAD
and associated media, high resolution IDEK monitors
and Autocad software. Today Omnitech Graphics
has consolidated its activities to MUTOH large
format inkjet printers for outdoor and indoor
signage, being one of the first to introduce the
use of solvent inks in Australia. These inks eliminated
the need for coated media and cost of signage,
posters, tautliners etc. fell dramatically as
a result. Overall Omnitech Graphics specialises
in visual communications also encompassing software
for Architecture and interior design.
In addition design professionals need high performance
graphic displays and Omnitech Graphics provides Onyx and Scanvec Amiable software in this regard.
As a result Omnitech, after 20 plus years, is
focused even more strongly on high tech distribution
which enhances and impacts the field of visual
communications.
