Tuned for Mutoh's Spitfire mild solvent inks, the Spitfire 100 direct-to-vinyl printer features a completely new hardware design. Spitfire 100 incorporates eight 360 nozzle piezo drop on demand inkjet heads and 16 ink slots. Offered as a total solution, ready for volume production of outdoor prints, the Spitfire 100 moreover is a mild solvent friendly printer. All parts of the ink supply path (ink supply tubings, head caps, pumps, etc.) are solvent resistant. Together with the machine, Mutoh is supplying a "Good Shape Kit" (6 months autonomy), with all necessary parts to perform periodical maintenance in a trice.
Spitfire 65 & 90 Extreme

The Spitfire 65 (1653mm) and Spitfire 90 (2280mm) direct to vinyl solvent printers will perfectly address the needs of typical sign makers, focusing on volume production of outdoor prints, who require mid-term outdoor use and high to medium speed on standard uncoated substrates.
Targeted at speed-intensive sign production applications, the Spitfire true solvent MS inks have excellent drying and drop fixation characteristics, allowing fast print speeds on a wide range of a wide range of self-adhesive PVC substrates. For commercial production prints on standard uncoated vinyls (720dpi, 2 pass per colour), Spitfire offers real-time speeds up to 16.5m2/hr. Application possibilities encompass production of mid-term outdoor durable signs, such as corporate signs, stage and window graphics, POS displays, backlit box signage, construction announcements, vehicle graphics, indoor graphics such as photo blow-ups, floor graphics etc.
