Mutoh's ValueJet 1604 printer has been specifically developed for starting-out full colour sign makers and established businesses with water-based inkjet printers. Incorporating Mutoh's i² Intelligent Interweaving technology, the ValueJet 1604 will offer impeccable print quality (720 x 720 dpi, 4 pass) up to 15 m² on banner and up to 8.5 m² on vinyl.
Offering a media width of 1625 mm and a printing width of 1615 mm, the ValueJet 1604 produces full-colour posters, banners, backlit panels, POS displays, notices, signs and stickers.
The ValueJet 1604 incorporates the new generation piezo drop-on-demand variable drop "wide-model" print head. The 1440 nozzle head incorporates four colour sections (two nozzle rows of 180 nozzles/colour).
Easy to set up and utilise even by inexperienced operators, the ValueJet 1604 printer comes with Mutoh's Eco-Solvent Ultra inks. Mutoh's Eco-Solvent Ultra CMYK ink is suited for printing directly onto low-cost standard available uncoated PVC and scrim banner media.
Standard equipped with a non-motorised unwinding system for media rolls (2"/3" core) up to a weight of 30 kg, the ValueJet 1604 printer can be set up with two optional motorised unwinding / winding systems. As a result, the ValueJet 1604 printer can perfectly address the volume & application needs of the user.
Optional unwinder / winder systems are the T winder 30 take up unit, equipped with a tension bar system, for media rolls up to 30 kg and the unwinder / winder 100 system with tensioning mechanism for motorised unwinding and winding of media rolls up to 100 kg.
